Tex. Local Gov't Code Section 361.027
Courtrooms and Court Proceedings at Justice Center


(a)

A court of appeals or a district, county, justice, or municipal court with jurisdiction in the county or municipality in which a part of the justice center is located may maintain offices and courtrooms and may hold proceedings at the center, except that:

(1)

only a justice court for the precinct in which the part of the justice center in this state is located may maintain an office and courtroom in the center; and

(2)

a court of this state may not hold proceedings in the part of the center that is located in the other state.

(b)

A court of the other state may hold proceedings in the part of the justice center that is located in this state.
