Tex. Local Gov't Code Section 325.034
Suits; Payment of Judgments


(a)

The district may, through its board, sue and be sued in any court of this state in the name of the district. Service of process in a suit may be had by serving the general manager.

(b)

The courts of this state shall take judicial notice of the creation of the district.

(c)

A court of this state that renders a money judgment against the district may require the board to pay the judgment from money in the district depository that is not dedicated to the payment of any indebtedness of the authority.
