Tex. Local Gov't Code Section 322.004
Municipal Conveyance of Land to Board


Any municipality contained in either of the counties may sell land owned by it to the board or to the counties if the governing body of the municipality finds that the land is not required for municipal purposes. The sale must be authorized by ordinance and does not require an election.
