Tex. Local Gov't Code Section 233.031
Authority Limited to Unincorporated Areas; Conflict with Municipal Authority


(a)

The authority under this subchapter to establish building and set-back lines applies only to areas outside the corporate limits of municipalities.

(b)

If the lines conflict with lines adopted by a municipality, the municipal lines prevail if they are in the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the municipality.
