Tex. Local Gov't Code Section 152.075
Compensation for Reserve Deputy Sheriffs

(a)

The commissioners court of a county may compensate a reserve deputy sheriff as provided by law for the compensation of a deputy sheriff.

(b)

The commissioners court may reimburse a reserve deputy sheriff for reasonable and necessary expenses incurred in the performance of official duties.
