Texas Local Government Code Sec. § 101.022 General Fiscal Powers The municipality may: (1) control and manage the finances of the municipality; and (2) prescribe its fiscal year and other fiscal arrangements. Acts 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 149, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1987.
