Tex. Health & Safety Code Section 81.179
Transportation of Person


(a)

The court shall order the sheriff or constable to transport the person to the designated health care facility.

(b)

A female shall be accompanied by a female attendant during conveyance to the health care facility.

(c)

The health authority or department shall instruct the sheriff or constable on procedures that may be necessary in transporting the person to prevent the spread of the disease.
