Tex. Health & Safety Code Section 162.004
Disclosure Required by Law


A blood bank shall disclose all information required by law, including HIV test results, to:

(1)

the department and a local health authority as required under Chapter 81 (Communicable Disease Prevention and Control Act);

(2)

the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of the United States Public Health Service, as required by federal law or regulation; or

(3)

any other local, state, or federal entity, as required by law, rule, or regulation.
