Tex. Health & Safety Code Section 146.013
Maintenance of Records


(a)

A tattooist shall maintain a permanent record of each person tattooed by the tattooist for a period established by department rule. A person who performs body piercing shall maintain a permanent record of each individual whose body is pierced by the person for a period established by department rule.

(b)

The record shall be available for inspection on the request of the department.
