Tex. Health & Safety Code Section 311.032
Department Administration of Hospital Reporting and Collection System

(a)

The department shall establish a uniform reporting and collection system for hospital financial and utilization data.

(b)

The executive commissioner shall adopt necessary rules consistent with this subchapter to govern the reporting and collection of data.
