Tex. Health & Safety Code Section 289.153
Annual Audit

(a)

For each fiscal year, each commission shall have an independent audit made of the district’s books and records.

(b)

Not later than December 31 of each year, the audit made for a district shall be filed with the comptroller and at the office of the district.
