Tex. Gov't Code Section 865.0116
Participating Department Head’s Duties

The participating department head:

(1)

is responsible for:

(A)

enrolling new members in the pension system; and

(B)

maintaining current and accurate membership records; and

(2)

shall provide information to the pension system related to changes in the membership records of the participating department in the time and manner prescribed by the pension system.
