Tex. Gov't Code Section 841.004
Powers, Privileges, and Immunities


(a)

The retirement system is a governmental entity and has the powers, privileges, and immunities of a corporation, as well as the powers, privileges, and immunities conferred by this subtitle.

(b)

The board of trustees, director, investment officer, and employees of the retirement system are not liable for any action taken or omission made or suffered by them in the good faith performance of any duty in connection with any program or benefit administered by the retirement system.
