Tex. Gov't Code Section 52.053
Compensation of Hill County Official Court Reporter

(a)

The salary of the official court reporter for the County Court of Hill County shall be set by the commissioners court in an amount not to exceed the salary received by the official court reporter of the district court in Hill County.

(b)

This salary is in addition to transcript fees, fees for statement of facts, and all other fees.

(c)

The salary shall be paid from the county general fund, jury fund, or any other fund available for the purpose, as determined by the commissioners court.

(d)

The salary shall be paid in the same manner as salaries for other county officers are paid.
