Tex. Gov't Code Section 482.301
Space Exploration and Aeronautics Research Fund; Establishment

(a)

The space exploration and aeronautics research fund is established to provide grants to eligible entities as provided by this chapter.

(b)

The fund is a trust fund outside the treasury with the comptroller and administered by the commission.

(c)

The fund is composed of:

(1)

gifts, grants, and donations provided to the commission; and

(2)

money from any source designated by the legislature.
