Tex. Gov't Code Section 482.106
Executive Director


(a)

The board shall hire an executive director. The executive director shall perform the duties required by this chapter and any duty delegated by the board.

(b)

The executive director must have a demonstrated ability to lead and develop academic, commercial, military, or governmental partnerships and coalitions.

(c)

The executive director may hire staff as necessary to implement the duties of the commission under this chapter.
