Tex. Gov't Code Section 475.0060
Support by Certain State Agencies

The Texas Department of Transportation, the Department of Public Safety of the State of Texas, and the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs may:

(1)

assist a local organizing committee, endorsing municipality, or endorsing county in developing applications and planning for the games; and

(2)

enter into a contract or agreement or give assurances related to the presentation of the games.
