Tex. Gov't Code Section 44.329
Tyler County


(a)

The criminal district attorney of Tyler County shall represent the state in all matters in the district and inferior courts in Tyler County.

(b)

The criminal district attorney shall perform the duties conferred by law on county and district attorneys in this state.

(c)

The criminal district attorney shall collect the fees, commissions, and perquisites that are provided by law for similar services rendered by a district or county attorney.

(d)

With the approval of the Commissioners Court of Tyler County, the criminal district attorney may appoint the staff required for the proper and efficient operation and administration of the office.
