Tex. Gov't Code Section 406.018
Removal from Office


(a)

A notary public guilty of wilful neglect of duty or malfeasance in office may be removed from office in the manner provided by law.

(b)

A notary public indicted for and convicted of a wilful neglect of duty or official misconduct shall be removed from office. The court shall include the order for removal as part of its judgment.
