Deputy Securities Commissioner; Securities Commissioner Appointees


(a)

The commissioner, with the consent of the board, may designate a deputy securities commissioner who shall perform all of the duties of the commissioner required by law to be performed by the commissioner when the commissioner is absent or unable to act for any reason.

(b)

The commissioner shall appoint other persons as necessary to carry out the powers and duties of the commissioner under this title and under other laws granting jurisdiction to or applicable to the board or the commissioner.

(c)

The commissioner may delegate to a person appointed under Subsection (b) powers and duties of the commissioner as the commissioner considers necessary.
