Tex. Gov't Code Section 3151.051
Prohibited Construction; Capitol View Corridor


A person may not begin, in a Capitol view corridor, construction of a structure that would exceed the maximum permissible height computed in accordance with the following formula:
h = (((653’ - eVP) x (b’))/b) - (eS - eVP)
where:
h is the maximum permissible height of the structure;
b is the distance between the selected view point and the center of the Capitol dome;
b’ is the distance between the view point and the structure;
eS is the elevation of the structure; and
eVP is the elevation of the view point.
