Tex. Gov't Code Section 305.021
False Communications


A person, for the purpose of influencing legislation or administrative action, may not:

(1)

knowingly or wilfully make a false statement or misrepresentation of the facts to a member of the legislative or executive branch; or

(2)

cause a copy of a document the person knows to contain a false statement to be received by a member of the legislative or executive branch without notifying the member in writing of the truth.
