In addition to satisfying the requirements of Section 30.00006 (Judge)(c), a municipal judge must have been a resident of the city for at least three years immediately preceding the judge’s appointment.(d)

Section 30.00007 (Presiding Judge)(b)(5) does not apply to this subchapter.(l)
In addition to the duties imposed under Sections 30.00007 (Presiding Judge)(b)(1)-(4), the presiding judge shall promulgate work rules for the administration of the municipal courts.
