Guadalupe County Court at Law Provisions
(a)
A county court at law in Guadalupe County has the same terms of court as the County Court of Guadalupe County.(b)
In addition to the jurisdiction provided by Section 25.0003 (Jurisdiction) and other law, a county court at law in Guadalupe County has concurrent jurisdiction with the district court in family law cases and proceedings including juvenile matters.(c)
A person appointed to fill a vacancy in the office of judge is entitled to the same compensation as the previous judge.(d)

If a case in the court’s concurrent jurisdiction with the district court is tried before a jury, the jury shall be composed of 12 members.(g)

Sections 25.0005 (Judge’s Salary)(b) and 25.0008 (Fees) do not apply to a county court at law in Guadalupe County.(i)
The district clerk serves as clerk of a county court at law in matters of concurrent jurisdiction with the district court, and the county clerk shall serve as clerk of a county court at law in all other cases.
