Tex. Gov't Code Section 2305.021
Oil Overcharge Account


(a)

The oil overcharge account is an account in the general revenue fund.

(b)

The comptroller shall deposit to the credit of the account any amount received as a result of petroleum overcharge litigation relating to the overpricing of crude oil or refined petroleum products during the 1973-1981 period of mandatory federal price controls.
