Tex. Gov't Code Section 2260.108
Defense by Attorney General


(a)

The attorney general shall defend a unit of state government in a contested case hearing covered by this chapter.

(b)

The attorney general may settle or compromise the portion of a claim that may result in state liability under this chapter.
