Tex. Gov't Code Section 2175.368
Acquisition or Improvement of Property; Rent Payments

The commission may:

(1)

acquire and hold title or make capital improvements to federal real property in accordance with Section 2175.369 (Charges); or

(2)

make an advance payment of rent for a distribution center, an office space, or another facility that is required to accomplish the commission’s functions under this subchapter.
