Tex. Gov't Code Section 2167.006
Elimination of Barriers to Persons with Disabilities in Leased Buildings

(a)

The commission may not enter a lease contract under this chapter unless it complies with the architectural barriers law, Article 9102, Revised Statutes.

(b)

A state agency, including an institution of higher education, may not enter a lease contract under Section 2167.005 (Delegation of Authority to State Agencies) unless the agency complies with the architectural barriers law, Article 9102, Revised Statutes.
