Gov't Code Section 2054.354
Steering Committee
(a)
The steering committee for electronic occupational licensing transactions consists of a representative of each of the following, appointed by its governing body:(1)
each licensing entity listed by Section 2054.352 (Applicability)(a); and(2)
the department.(b)
The governing body of a licensing entity described by Section 2054.352 (Applicability)(c) may appoint a representative to the committee.(c)
A member of the committee serves at the will of the entity that appointed the member.(d)
The representative of the department is the presiding officer of the committee. The committee shall meet as prescribed by committee procedures or at the call of the presiding officer.(e)
The committee shall advise the department regarding the department’s implementation of Section 2054.353 (Electronic System for Occupational Licensing Transactions).(f)
Chapter 2110 (State Agency Advisory Committees) does not apply to the size, composition, or duration of the committee. Any reimbursement of the expenses of a member of the committee may be paid only from funds available to the governmental entity the member represents.
