Tex. Gov't Code Section 2052.302
Prohibition of Economic Benefit


(a)

In accordance with Article XVI, Section 21, of the Texas Constitution, an officer or employee of the state may not, directly or indirectly, profit by or have a pecuniary interest in the preparation, printing, duplication, or sale of a publication or other printed matter issued by a department or agency of the executive branch.

(b)

A person who violates this section shall be dismissed from state employment.
