Texas Employment Commission


Section 2001.038 (Declaratory Judgment) and Subchapters C through H do not apply to a hearing by the Texas Employment Commission to determine whether or not a claimant is entitled to unemployment compensation, and the remainder of this chapter does not apply other than to matters of unemployment insurance maintained by the commission. Regarding unemployment insurance matters, the commission may not comply with Section 2001.004 (Requirement to Adopt Rules of Practice and Index Rules, Orders, and Decisions)(3) or 2001.005 (Rule, Order, or Decision Not Effective Until Indexed) relating to orders and decisions.
