Tex. Gov't Code Section 155.209
Fee for Obtaining Criminal History Record Information


(a)

Except as provided by Subsection (b), the commission may charge a fee to obtain criminal history record information under this subchapter, in an amount approved by the supreme court.

(b)

The supreme court may adopt rules excluding individuals who are indigent from having to pay the fee authorized by this section.

(c)

A guardian is entitled to reimbursement from the guardianship estate as provided by Subchapter C (Reimbursement of Expenses in General), Chapter 1155 (Compensation, Expenses, and Court Costs), Estates Code, for the fee authorized by this section.
