Tex. Gov't Code Section 153.056
Options Following Decision: Pay, Accept, or Appeal


Not later than the 30th day after the date the order of the commission imposing an administrative penalty or sanction under Section 153.055 (Notice; Hearing) becomes final, the person shall:

(1)

accept the obligation to pay the penalty or accept the sanction; or

(2)

file an appeal of the commission’s order contesting the findings of fact, the conclusions of law, the occurrence of the violation, the imposition or amount of the penalty, the imposition of the sanction, or any combination.
