Tex. Gov't Code Section 152.056
Presiding Officer


The supreme court shall designate a member of the commission as presiding officer of the commission to serve in that capacity at the pleasure of the supreme court. The presiding officer may designate a member of the commission to preside over a meeting of the commission in the absence of the presiding officer.
