Tex. Gov't Code Section 1503.156
Authority to Issue Notes and Warrants Without Election


(a)

A municipality may issue notes or warrants in an amount not to exceed $100,000 for the purposes described by this subchapter without an election.

(b)

To the extent of a conflict between this section and a municipal charter, this section controls.
