Tex. Gov't Code Section 1207.081
Issuance in Exchange for Obligation to Be Refunded; Limitation


(a)

Refunding bonds may be issued to be exchanged under this subchapter for, and on the surrender and cancellation of, the obligations to be refunded.

(b)

The comptroller shall register a refunding bond and deliver it to the holder of the obligation to be refunded, in accordance with the proceedings authorizing the refunding bond. The exchange may be made in one delivery or in installment deliveries.
