Tex. Bus. Orgs. Code Section 4.003
Filing or Issuance of Reproduction or Facsimile

(a)

A photographic, photostatic, facsimile, electronic, or similar reproduction of a filing instrument, signature, acknowledgment of filing, or communication may be filed or issued in place of:

(1)

an original filing instrument;

(2)

an original signature on a filing instrument; or

(3)

an original acknowledgment of filing or other written communication from the secretary of state relating to a filing instrument.

(b)

To the extent any filing or action on a filing conforms to this subchapter, a filing instrument or an acknowledgment of filing issued by the secretary of state is not required to be on paper or to be reduced to printed form.
