General Annexation Provisions

(a)

Except as provided by this section, Subchapter J (Adding Land by Petition of Landowner), Chapter 49 (Provisions Applicable to All Districts), Water Code, applies to the district.

(b)

In addition to the requirements of Section 49.302 (Adding Land by Petition of Less than All the Landowners)(b), Water Code, the petition must also be signed by a majority of registered voters in the defined area to be annexed.
