Tex. Ins. Code Section 941.053
Deputy or Substitute Attorney in Fact


An appointed deputy attorney in fact or substitute attorney in fact for an attorney in fact holding a certificate of authority under this chapter and accepting powers of attorney from underwriters is authorized by the certificate of authority to:

(1)

issue or make a policy or contract of insurance; and

(2)

perform any other act incident to issuing or making a policy or contract of insurance.
