Recommendations to Ensure Submission of Statement


The victim services division of the department, in consultation with the board, law enforcement agencies, offices of attorneys representing the state, and other participants in the criminal justice system, shall develop recommendations to ensure that completed victim impact statements are submitted to the department as provided by Article 56A.159 (Transfer of Statement After Sentencing)(b).
