Tex. Bus. & Com. Code Section 506.005
Private Cause of Action

A person who violates Section 506.003 (Prohibited Acts) is liable to the individual who is the subject of the covered information for statutory damages in an amount of not less than $25 or more than $500 for each violation, not to exceed a total amount of $150,000.
