Hearing


(a)

On its own motion or on application of a producer or handler of citrus fruit, the department may conduct a hearing on the execution of a marketing agreement or on the issuance of a license if the department has reason to believe that the marketing agreement or license will tend to effectuate the policy of this subchapter.

(b)

The department shall conduct a hearing under this section in the area subject to this subchapter and shall within a reasonable time make the evidence and exhibits offered at the hearing available at a central point to any interested party. The department shall produce a transcript of the hearing and make it available to any interested party.
